I used the chest strap once, 2 events into the race it broke and my Gopro went flying, do not buy this.
Spend the money and get the real one.

Very poor build quality

Was initially very excited to get this product, however, upon using it TWICE I was very disappointed with the build quality. The USB connector on the battery cradle popped inside the plastic housing and now rattles around the inside and obviously cannot be used any longer. Literally - second time I used this - and no I did not apply excessive force when connecting the USB wire.

A worthy purchase at a huge saving.

On a recent holiday to the remotest regions of NE Scotland, i wanted high quality compatible batteries for my GoPro 4 Silver.

The standard original GoPro battery is renowned for it's poor battery life, and when recording video in 4K quality, the battery useage is excessive.

I read numerous reviews on the quality of these Smatree replacements, and was more than happy with their slightly improved battery power, and examining both original GoPro battery and Smatree replacement, one cannot see both batteries are very high quality items, and the biggest bonus is the slightly larger capacity of the Smatree replacements, allows for around an hours extended battery life.

The biggest benefit though, is price, as the Smatree batteries represent a huge saving, for batteries of equal quality to the originals.
