Great product...... Holds my camera and accessories very well, while not being too bulky.

Nice case for travel

This case fits my GoPro Hero4 Silver well and the battery area does fit the batteries fine (they are not loose). I am glad that I purchased my silicone lens cap cover as the only thing I noticed is that when you close the case if the zippered area is full then it could possibly scratch against the lens part of the housing as it faces up in the case. I purchased the Toughsty soft silicone lens cover which was very inexpensive and I now do not worry if the top of the case is in contact with the camera housing.

Good, but did not fit the Hero4

I bought this case (G160) for my Hero4 camera and some core accessories, so this review is written from that perspective. I already have a larger bag for all of my GoPro stuff, but was looking for something that fit the basic components I will always need (camera, batteries, SD cards, Smart Remote, Chargers/cables). For me, the size is exactly what I was expecting, nothing more, nothing less.

The quality of the case seems good, especially when I consider what it cost on Amazon. However, I rate this 3 stars for two primary reasons:

1) There is no padding at all on the bottom of the case. I would have liked1/8" of foam lining the bottom of the case.

2) It does not correctly fit the Hero 4. The cutout for the camera is too large for the Hero4 (with the standard housing and "touch sensitive" back. The cutout seems designed for the older GoPro models. I put my old Hero2 in the case (with the standard waterproof back) and it fit snugly enough that it didn't move around.

For the Hero 4, even with the small "spacer" foam in place, there is a gap on the camera sides, and top/bottom. This is with no thumbscrew or mount...only the Hero4 in case with the waterproof "touch screen" back. In other words, if you hold the Hero4 above the foam cutout and let go, it simply drops all the down with no resistance, at which point it hits the hard bottom of the case. Shake the case with the camera inside and you can hear the GoPro bouncing around on the hard bottom of the case.

Other than the two gripes above, the case seems well made (zipper, fabric, etc). There is no dedicated slot cut for the micro SD card/holder, but I can easily slice a couple of slots myself to correct that. If I only had the Hero2 I would keep the case and be very happy with it.

I agree with another review with respect to the zippered upper portion -- well done and two layers of fabric so it should last.

Nicer case, small enough to travel with me, big enough to hold evrything!

Nicer case, small enough to travel with me in my Vespa, big enough to hold my GoPro and all its gadgets!

Great GoPro Case!!!

I write this review After a few weeks of testing it out in different situations to make sure this review is honest and thorough.

In order to pick this case out I read countless reviews and compared it to many different different GoPro Cases.

I am incredibly pleased I went with this case.

This Case is the perfect size (not too big, not too small) can be used for short trips and doesn't take up too much space while carrying all the things you want and might need.

Really like how you can customize the case to fit your specific needs - huge plus. Some ppl have 2 cameras - others have more mounts, this case serves both users very well.

Another great aspect is the zippered cover mesh area. You might overlook this at first but I have found it incredibly useful to keep a vide range of smaller items there without falling out.

This case has great functionality with a very good clean look. It products my precious GoPros and looks good too!

Overall I highly recommend this case and am very content with it. It is well built and serves its purpose extremely well.

With that said I was provided a discount to give an honest and unbiased review of the product.

Best GoPro Case!

The SmaCase G260sl is an excellent case for storing a GoPro and accessories. It is very sturdy and I like the red accents with the black case. The foam is also very protective and easily rearranged. I am able to store 4 batteries, a Micro SD card reader, a triple battery charger, all of the accessories that came with the GoPro, a GoPro Hero 4 Silver, and two mini USB cables inside the case. I especially like the zipper pocket at the top for extra storage. I only wish I could fit my SmaPole S3 inside of it, but it is too large and I have to carry it separately. It is very well designed and I think that it is the best case option for a GoPro.
