    Bright colour needed

To my understanding floaties are designed for people who are more or less afraid to lose their cameras in the water. As such, I would suggest adding a bright-coloured segment to the pole so it could be easily seen in the water (or elsewhere).

color options would be a plus

The product looks great, color options would be a huge plus. It does look taller than other float poles and has a smaller diameter which is great. My only hope is that it will fit in the smaller smatree cases.

    Grip

Great product! But I would add some kind of griptape! So it stays in your hand safely.

    I agree with bright color

My only suggestion for this device is a bright color on at least part of it in case you drop it and it floats to the bottom. I would also suggest to include different types of wrist straps with it.. Maybe also include a neoprene wrist strap for scuba diving? Keep the current strap as well because I would use a device like this for dual purposes.. I would use it in and out of water but it would be nice to have a strap for water usage..

    Those are my ideas! :-)

    Great Idea!

The design is great and the color's are excellent.
I understand what others are saying in regards to the color being brighter, but not all users are going to be using this while they are participating in a sport where they are going to drop it. The wrist attachment can be tightly secured and therefore it shouldn't fall off.
I really like how the leash is screwed in to the Float Pole. I'm assuming this is to help with draining once this becomes wet?
The blue accents I wouldn't change. I would keep it as is since Smatree's signature color for other products is that great color blue.

I think what could make this product even better is if there was a clip attached on the handle for the GoPro Wifi Remote. It's something you don't see on any other GoPro handheld accessories and could be a differentiator for Smatree.

    another suggestion

With the hole in the bottom you could alsoadd a little tripod attachment to make this pole even more versital! Just add some kind of legs that could be screwed in the tether hole and it would work great

Also I would like to clarify my other post a little.. I said there should be bright colors somewhere in case it sinks.. I know a floaty isn't designed to sink but as a professional lifeguard that works on the lake all summer with over 5000 guest you would be surprised the people who attached everything to these poles causing them to sink.. I have seen people tie keys to them lol

Not sure what this is trying to do

On the water, where floats make any sense, I see people holding floating handles occasionally, but not often. This one seems the wrong color, as others have said, not particularly ergonomic, as others have said, and rather big and clunky. Nothing in this design makes sense to me.
There's nothing to distinguish this positively from others on the market already, other than that Smatree makes great products.
Now if what you intended was a floating waterproof version of your excellent SmaPole line, then I could figure out what to do with it and there might be a market.

    Looks cool

I would suggest making it larger in diameter. I think it would be more comfortable to hold.
I like how the wrist strap unscrews. It would be cool if you could screw on another floating pole of the same size to add extra length if needed. Also, you could have a GoPro on both ends and capture video above and below water at the same time.

    Brighter color

I also agree about the color. Needs to be a bright orange or yellow so it is easy to spot in dark water.

    Better now

Now that you have designed in a mount on the base, so that it can be attached to standard Gopro and other systems, it's starting to look a whole lot better to me. (I did send you a simple design previously for a better mount bottom for all your poles, BTW.)
It still needs a bright color to be seen/found in the water, though.

    Needs bright color

Nicely built floaty grip. It's a little bit longer than it looks, so don't expect to use this as an everyday grip. But the whole thing feels nice and solid. There's not too much texture, so when going into the water it might be a little slippery. I definitely agree that it needs a bright color to be easily spotted if lost.
